In a very competitive market for office space, business park owners can face a frustrating struggle if they can’t offer a quality consistent internet service for their tenants. Often times tenants will not even consider an office space if the internet is poor or none existent, no matter how beautiful the location or the space you are providing. This is evident in very rural locations where the national internet service providers are unable to supply a high speed service. This is where Signa Technologies can help.
With over 20 years’ of industry knowledge and experience in the broadband field, particularly specialising in design and installation of wireless networks in some of the most rural parts of the country, Signa has a few tricks up its sleeve in terms of bringing a solid broadband backhaul (internet connection) into a customer’s site, and then distributing the connection across their estate to meet their requirements for service offerings to their customers. This is done in a cost effective and unobtrusive manner, working with the site managers to build a network that suits the aesthetics of the site as well as the functionality of the network.
Please see our case study for Hutton Wandesley Estate which demonstrates what we can do for you.
RURAL BUSINESS PARK CAN REALLY OFFER IT ALL
Local Estate invests in superfast broadband network so that its tenants can enjoy the dream of work life balance.
Hutton Wandesley Estates offers small to medium size businesses, the opportunity to work in an attractive office environment located in a picturesque and historical village in the heart of North Yorkshire. With strong transport links to both York and Harrogate as well as easy access to the A1, Hutton Wandesley Estates can offer it all.
Sasha York, Director of Hutton Wandesley Estates, said “We’ve just completed the first part of a superfast wireless broadband project to provide our tenants with a business class service at both our Sycamore Barn and Manor Farm Barn offices in the village of Angram. We will be expanding this network in the second phase to our new residential development due to be completed in the autumn.
Sasha continues “As many of our tenants are from the creative sector, having access to superfast broadband was becoming more and more crucial to our business offering. We struggled with the service that the national ISPs were supplying, 2 Megabits at best, which just doesn’t cut it for today’s online businesses.
Working with Signa Technologies and DeepBlue Telecoms, they designed and installed a network that meant we could offer our tenants packages from 10Mbps up to 30Mbps with room to grow as demand requires. This is a huge improvement and our tenants agree”.
Martyn Boswell, Managing Director at Signa Technologies stated “working alongside an IT company such as DeepBlue, helps us deliver not only a robust broadband service but also gives DeepBlue a platform to sell innovative business solutions such as VoIP telephony, which is usually only available to companies located in urban areas.
We hope to work with DeepBlue on many more of these types of network projects in the near future.”
